I organized the "What Women Want" campaign's presence at the 2018 March for Moms in Washington, DC where we asked women from all over America to share their maternal health demands.

As part of the "What Women Want" campaign, I created the official website, social media graphics/ templates, toolkits and guides. These materials have been used by over 250 international health partners to ensure that 1 million women from around the world were given the opportunity to contribute to a new global maternal health agenda focused on "quality" care.

As White Ribbon Alliance's Communication Coordinator, I worked with the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) communications and events team to plan Citizen Journalist workshops and celebratory events for midwives and maternal health advocates from 114 countries at ICM's 2017 Congress in Toronto.

I oversaw the production process of the play from the draft stage, to staged readings, to a first run in Los Angeles, it's extended run at a large regional theater, and to its publication and production in countless US cities.

2014 was an exciting year for "Real Time with Bill Maher" -- we took the entire show to Washington, DC in September for a very fun on-the-road episode.

2014 was also the year Bill tried to change the political status quo and get a lousy Congressman (as voted by their own constituents!) flipped out of office.

Season 11 Class Photo -- 2013 was my first year at "Real Time with Bill Maher" as an Executive Assistant. I must be the luckiest person in the world to work with such amazing people.

After an extremely successful run at the NoHo Arts Center, "The Gospel According to Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens & Count Leo Tolstoy: DISCORD" opened at the end of 2014 at the prestigious Geffen Playhouse (and was extended 3 times due to popular demand). I was so proud to be able to devote so much of 2014 to this show, and to watch its cast and crew (the exact same as the NoHo run!) grow and evolve over the course of the year and its nearly 100 live performances to sold-out crowds in LA.

For the 2nd time in the same calendar year, "The Gospel According to Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens & Count Leo Tolstoy: DISCORD" opened to rave reviews in Los Angeles.

I was so pleased to work as the Stage Manager for Joshua Ravetch's world premiere production of "One November Yankee," starring Harry Hamlin and Loretta Swit at the NoHo Arts Center in North Hollywood, CA.

I was the Stage Manager for the world premiere of Christopher Knopf's "The Red Room" during the autumn of 2012 at The NoHo Arts Center in North Hollywood, CA.

It's wonderful when you get to work with a talented and kind cast. "The Red Room" was a great show and the actors, creatives and production crew all had hearts of gold.

I was very fortunate to work as the Company Manager for the first U.S. production of Jordi Galceran Ferrer's European hit play "The Gronholm Method", which premiered at The Falcon Theatre in Burbank, CA during the summer of 2012.

The "What Women Want" campaign is revolutionizing the way women and girls' demands for quality reproductive and maternal healthcare are realized. I created the website, all marketing and digital assets, as well as worked with partners to create the translated surveys and materials needed to reach the campaign's goal of 1 million women contributing to a new global health agenda based on "quality" care.

As White Ribbon Alliance's Communication Coordinator, I created Citizen Journalist training materials and lesson plans that gave midwives from around the world the skills necessary to properly advocate for their rights and the rights of the women and newborns that they support as part of the International Confederation of Midwives' 2017 Congress in Toronto.

I wrote, designed and produced White Ribbon Alliance's 2016 Annual Report as WRA's Communication Coordinator.

My graduate degree in Publishing from University College London earned me a grade of Distinction and the chance to interview major authors and the movers and shakers of the UK publishing industry.

My love for cooking and my love for reading and writing came together spectacularly during my time working with the UK publisher of the Australian Women's Weekly.

Cookery, reference, pets, crafts, humour, and - yes - puzzle books. I worked on them all and I've taken that training into my freelance editorial and marketing work here in the United States.

While working at Octopus Publishing Group, I was fortunate enough to work with the reference publisher and helped edit and create the sales materials for this book on the history of my favorite science - astronomy.

Working in the publishing industry has given me the skills necessary to sell just about anything, as well as the training needed to write and edit effective marketing campaigns.

Having studied and worked in the UK, I enjoy the differences in our shared language. This experience came in handy when teaching English abroad and has proven infinitely useful in my freelance work.

"This Thing Called Treatment" was my first time publishing a book on a freelance basis. I edited and designed this book cover to cover - it has since sold internationally and is now in its 3rd edition.
